The Rio Rancho Economic Development Corporation (RREDC) is a private, not-for-profit economic development corporation established to strengthen and diversify the economic base of Rio Rancho and Sandoval County, New Mexico.

The RREDC provides a broad range of free and confidential services to business and industry considering new locations for expansion, relocation, or consolidation. Corporation services include identifying available sites and facilities, accessing applicable local and statewide business support and incentive programs, and evaluating critical site location factors.  The RREDC also assists existing Rio Rancho companies through its Retention and Expansion program.

NEW!! University of New Mexico hospital to open on UNM campus in Rio Rancho. The 75-bed hospital is expected to generate about 500 jobs and inject $158 million into the local economy each year. In April, Presbyterian Healthcare Services announced a 120-bed hospital in Rio Rancho. Both hospitals are expected to open in 2010.
