The Rio Rancho Economic Development Corporation (RREDC) is a private, not-for-profit economic development corporation established to strengthen and diversify the economic base of Rio Rancho and Sandoval County, New Mexico.
The RREDC provides a broad range of free and confidential services to business and industry considering new locations for expansion, relocation, or consolidation. Corporation services include identifying available sites and facilities, accessing applicable local and statewide business support and incentive programs, and evaluating critical site location factors. The RREDC also assists existing Rio Rancho companies through its Retention and Expansion program.
The RREDC was formed in 1992 and is directed by a 40-member volunteer Board of Directors. The members of the Board come from a wide variety of professions and organizations. The RREDC is funded by the City of Rio Rancho, Sandoval County, and the private sector business community.
The mission of the RREDC is to foster economic vibrancy by creating, strengthening, and retaining economic base jobs to enhance the quality of life in Rio Rancho and Sandoval County, New Mexico.
